Spurgeon Gems was created in 2001 by Perry Boardman of Eternal Life Ministries. The site began with less than 10 volumes of sermons and now has a complete 63 volume set as well as other Bible-based resources, which were freely provided by friends of the ministry.
The Spurgeon Library exists—in attitude and architecture—to promote Jesus Christ by remembering the life and legacy of Charles Spurgeon. In addition to preserving the collection for posterity and providing a study space for scholars and students, the library will allow Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to equip pastors, teachers, and students to fulfill God’s calling on their lives.
The Rev. Dr. Peter J. Wallace is a minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and is the pastor of Michiana Covenant PCA in South Bend, Indiana, where he resides with his wife, Ginger, and their seven children.
David Martyn Lloyd-Jones (20 December 1899-1 March 1981) was a Welsh Protestant minister, preacher and medical doctor who was influential in the Reformed wing of evangelicalism in the 20th century. For almost 30 years, he was the minister of Westminster Chapel in London.
