Psalms in Classical Latin

Why the Psalms? The Bible is a core text for any Latin student  - whether Christian or not, whether religious or not. The language of the Bible has informed the texture and quality of the Latin language over the centuries since the fall of Rome. It formed a core section of the curriculum of all European students during the medieval period and during the Renaissance. 

One of the goals of Latinum is to reconstruct the syllabus used in Europe during the time period when Latin was still a work-horse language; Bible study, therefore must form a significant section of this curriculum.
